At Dash Consulting Services, our passion is rooted in advocating for underserved and marginalized communities. Founded by Rahmell Dash in 2022, our mission is to ensure that healthcare organizations deliver not only quality care but care that is ethical, equitable, and fully compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.

With over 15 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, Rahmell has worked extensively in the Department of Behavioral Health and Federally Qualified Health Centers. Throughout his career, he has witnessed how vulnerable populations are often overlooked, and how healthcare can be treated as a business rather than a service. While this doesn’t reflect every health center, Rahmell’s guiding principle is that healthcare providers must always "Do the Right Thing" for the communities they serve.

Dash Consulting Services was founded post-COVID in 2022 to help HRSA-funded organizations with technical assistance and preparedness for their operational site visits. As Rahmell worked with these organizations, he identified a broader need—helping them build robust compliance programs that meet not only federal standards but also state and local regulations. He began consulting with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to design and implement comprehensive compliance strategies, ensuring they met CMS and OMIG standards as well.

Dash Consulting Services is also subcontracted by HRSA and BPHC, conducting Operational Site Visits (OSVs) nationally. This role has greatly expanded Rahmell’s knowledge and expertise, allowing him to work with both urban and rural health centers, deepening his understanding of the unique challenges each setting presents.

Driven by his lifelong commitment to public health, Rahmell views his work as an extension of his purpose: to be a voice for the voiceless and to ensure healthcare organizations offer not only high-quality services but also ethically sound and compliant care. Through Dash Consulting Services, he continues to advocate for best practices and provides organizations with the tools they need to serve their communities with integrity and excellence.
